Aroma La Jolla is the fruit of 6 months of hard work to make our vision of the perfect cafe and bakery come to life. This objective was inspired by the founders' diverse cultural backgrounds. With Middle Eastern and Western European influences, we believe we have successfully created a one of a kind cafe where our patrons can relax, taste delicious coffees, drinks and food from all over the world, as well as delicious award winning pastries. -

Aroma La Jolla serves from early morning to late at night. Whether you want to join us for a full meal, or grab a quick coffee and pastry, Aroma La Jolla is conveniently located in the heart of downtown La Jolla at the corner of Fay and Prospect.

Aroma La Jolla proudly bakes all of our bread, cakes and pastries on site daily. We have a full service espresso bar serving your favorite coffee drinks, teas, and other refreshments.

Chef Sean Sommer has spent a great deal of his culinary career in North San Diego county training with top chefs in their respective restaurants, leading to some of the best ideas in coastal cuisine. With a varied culinary background, our chefs bring Mediterranean, Southwest, Asian and contemporary flavors to Aroma Cafe. We produce a wide variety of options to choose from including fresh seafood entrees, fabulous salads, sandwiches and wraps, great pasta dishes and signature steak offerings. With an obvious attention to detail, he strives to create the best, most creative dishes possible.
